ANNOUNCING THE SALE OF ZF TRW

The sale of the ZF TRW Global Body Control Systems Business has been finalized with Luxshare Limited. The new entity will be named Body Control Systems Automotive Interface Solutions (BCS-AIS). The Machine Building Division is a division of BCS-AIS.

Luxshare is a global multi-industrial company headquartered in Dongguan, Shenzhen, China that participates in the telecommunication, computer, enterprise, medical and automotive industries. The Chinese-based business posted sales of more than $3.5 billion in 2017 and employs 40,000 people around the world.  Their products have helped customers such as Apple, Lenovo, HP, Dell, Microsoft, Google, Inspur, Nissan, Bosch, Amazon, and Belkin deliver innovative solutions that change the world. 

Luxshare Precision Industry Co., Ltd was founded in 2004 and listed publicly on the SME board of the Shenzhen Stock Exchange in 2010. 

Their product portfolio includes: cables, connectors, motors, wireless chargers, FPCs, antennas, and acoustic and electronic modules. 

There will be entities in 11 countries – Brazil, Czech Republic, Germany, Italy, Mexico, Poland, UK, US, Japan and China and 2 branch offices-France and South Korea.

The machine building division is one of the US based entities.  We plan to operate on a “business as usual” basis and look forward to continuing the strong business relationship that we have enjoyed with our customers.
